12:30–1:30PM, Mack Avenue Records Pyramid Stage

2010 Artist in Residence Mulgrew Miller makes his second appearance of the weekend in this set with the William Paterson University Jazz Ensemble. The William Paterson Jazz Studies Program is among the most respected programs in the country, with a proud reputation for emphasis on small-group playing, improvisation and a genuine commitment to the jazz tradition. The ensemble consists of Caleb Curtis (alto saxophone), Nathan Giroux (tenor saxophone) Harrison Young (vocals), Julia Brav (piano), Nicolas Indalecio (guitar), Bill Thoman (bass) and Anthony Benson (drums).
