Dave Bennett Quartet

Dave Bennett began playing clarinet at the age of 10 and soon after taught himself to play Benny Goodman songs by ear. Now in his mid-20s, he has developed into “the closest ever” to Goodman’s sound and style, according to several of Goodman’s famous band members – including vibraphonist Peter Appleyard, pianist Dick Hyman and guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli. Joining Bennett are Tad Weed (piano), Kurt Krahnke (bass) and Doug Cobb (drums).
