Cultural Partners

Since 2007 the festival has established a year-round presence by working with and supporting other organizations that nurture jazz and its legacy in Detroit. The Detroit Jazz Festival collaborates with Wayne State University on an internship program and summer jazz camp, and partners with the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, the Detroit Institute of Arts, Detroit Public Schools, Arts League Michigan and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra on cross-promotion and educational programming.
Check back as we announce exciting 2013 events as we partner with Detroit’s most important cultural institutions.
