Join us in celebrating the 2010 Detroit Jazz Fest with a special fundraising event – an elegant cruise along the scenic Detroit River. The 2nd annual Detroit Jazz Fest Cruise will “set sail” on Thursday, August 19, 2010.
Location: GM Wintergarden Dock at Renaissance Center (downtown Detroit)
Boarding: 6:30PM
Cruise: 7:30 – 9:30PM
The two-hour excursion will take place aboard the stylish Ovation Yacht – a 138-foot vessel that offers a “distinctly metropolitan flair,” an outstanding slate of amenities, and three fabulous decks.
Guests will be treated to dinner, cocktails and live jazz by Mack Avenue recording artists Hot Club of Detroit. The cruise will also feature the much-anticipated release of the 2010 Detroit Jazz Fest CD – a compilation of some of the world-class artists who will perform at the festival on Labor Day Weekend.
Tickets are $150 per person ($94.50 of which is tax deductible) or $250 per person ($194.50 of which is tax deductible. Only 220 tickets are available, so act now! Proceeds from the event will help support DJF community outreach and educational programs throughout the year.
